The Bedoanas are an indigenous people living on the Bomberai Peninsula in Papua Barat Province, Indonesia. Their language, Bedoanas, belongs to the Austronesian family and is closely related to other languages of the New Guinea cluster. Historically, they have lived in small coastal villages such as Andamata, Fior, and Furir, relying on fishing and sago cultivation for sustenance. Their cultural identity is deeply tied to the land and sea, with traditions passed down orally through generations.
